Guatemala:
In February 2007, The River sent a dozen
members
on a 10 day service and learning trip to Santa Rosa, Guatemala, in Central
America. The group worked alongside Fe Viva (Living Faith), a
Canadian-based Christian agency that works in the works in the
communities of Chiquimulilla, Guazacapan and Texisco..
Highlights for the group included touring and ministering inside a
maximum security prison, helping to support a one-day medical clinic and
visiting rural churches amongst the sugar cane fields.
