Sunday Morning Worship at The River
FREE PANCAKE BREAKFAST! Bring your family and friends to church this Sunday morning at 9 AM as we celebrate a new ministry year with a pancake breakfast at Lillian. Come early and enjoy the fellowship!!!!
This Sunday's Message--The River in 3G: "The Work of The Church" This Sunday, we'll start with a free pancake breakfast at 9 AM followed by the worship service at 10:30 AM. During the service, we'll unveil some of the exciting things that we have planned this fall at The River including the identity of our social justice event speaker in November. Since it's also Labour Day weekend, in the message, we'll talk about the work that God has called us to as a church and the challenge of doing that work in a culture that is often indifferent or even hostile to the gospel. We'll conclude by talking about The River's mission and how being a 3G community can help the church regain credibility and make the message of the gospel relevant to our neighbours and friends. See you Sunday!
The River currently meets at
Lillian Osborne High School, 1019 Leger Road, in
Riverbend/Terwillegar, Edmonton, Alberta. Our service
is now held at 10:30 AM in the morning. Children's
ministry programs and nursery are provided. Come
early
for bagels and coffee.
